Dave’s farm land is surrounded by hundreds of acres of undisturbed forest full of wildlife and song birds. It is a beautiful spot with a rich clay loam soil flavored by limestone and spagnum moss that grows fabulous vegetables with delightful earthy flavors. Dave’s farm is a example of private sector land stewardship with the 5 acres of garden supporting the cost of leaving the rest of the land natural and undisturbed much to the joy of local wildlife. Dave farms without even organic pesticides preferring to work with nature than poison it. Dave’s farm is unmarked by any signage and he does not sell retail, only those already knowing it’s location are likely to find it at the far end of an extremely rough lane. Dave sells only wholesale to restaurants, is fully booked, and is not seeking any new customers at this time. |
